<h align="center">Welcome to The Market Weighton Community Website</h5>
<p> Nestled in the Yorkshire Wolds our town has grown <em>so much</em> in
the last few years that this website has been set up by local people
to let residents and visitors get information, advice and give comment
on all that is happening in the town. </p>
<p> The Weighton Website Working Group (WWWG) has been busy over the last
few months developing this crucial link for all those interested in knowing
the latest with both the regeneration of the town and with other activities
that go on. </p>
<p> We hope you take time to review some of the content of the site and,
if possible add your contribution. The Group have created areas that
contain valuable information on activities. organisations and news events
that are of concern all Weighton inhabitants.</p>
<p>On this page you can see the latest <span class="story_bold"><strong>news</strong></span> and
selecting a highlighted date on the <span class="story_bold">calendar</span> will
tell you of that days events. <br>
Visit the <span class="story_bold">message boards</span> and keep in touch
with current developments. If you register, you can post your views on issues
that interest you, tell us your favourite place to eat or drink or give us
some ideas on how you would like the site to develop. <br>
The <span class="story_bold">gallery</span> is there for any budding photographers
that want to share their photographs with the community. Visit it, and see
some of the beautiful pictures taken of last year’s garden competition. <br>
In order to facilitate communication we are hosting <span class="story_bold">newsletters</span> for
any organisation that wants to take advantage of them. If you are a parent
of a child at a Market Weighton school, for example, then sign up for the school
newsletter and keep up to date with what is happening there. </p>
