Market Weighton will have a new library building, to be built in Beverley Road alongside the old magistrates court/police station. The new construction will house the library and the East Riding customer service centre. The existing library on Princess Road will close.
Construction is due to start in March, and the new facilities should be opened in October 2007.
The East Riding customer service centre will occupy a temporary building on the town's market place, whilst construction of the new unit is being undertaken
